Last week my 2007 Infiniti M35 was making noise in the front end. I bought my car from Richard Catena Auto a year ago. I quickly called my warranty company and they sent me to F1 Auto repair in Garfield. They found out the left axle was bad and the ball joint need to be replaced. They worked it out with the warranty company, Umbrella Warranty Services, and the car was fixed by the end of the next day. I am very happy and my car is running better. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
My 2007 S550 wouldn't start. I called roadside assistance provided by my extended warranty with Umbrella Warranty and they had the car towed to the Mercedes dealer. Turned out it needed a new starter and the battery went because of the cold. Parts took forever. When the parts were in, the warranty company paid the claim but I had to pay my $100 deductible to the Mercedes dealer. All in all I am happy I didn't have to pay $957 out of pocket. Make sure you buy a warranty when you buy a used car. T.B.
My 2011 E350 check engine light came on and i went to the mercedes dealer. The diagnostic came back that my alternator was bad. I told the service advisor of my plan with Umbrella Warranty and the claim was approved by the end of the day. They paid it the following monday and I was on my way with a brand new alternator installed by the Mercedes dealer. What more could anyone ask for. G.F.
I purchased a 2011 Lexus GS350 from Richard Catena Auto in Teterboro NJ. I was a bit concerned about extended coverage as the community online states that extended coverage is more of an issue than a benefit. The opposite was true for me. My car wouldn't start one afternoon and i had to have it towed to my local shop. They stated that the receiver wasn't reading the transponder in the key and referred me to a Lexus dealer. The next day I called my warranty company, Umbrella Warranty, about my Gold coverage plan and they worked with my local repair shop. It turned out the receiver was bad and was a simple part change and i was back with my car the next day. I am very satisfied and would recommend to anyone. Thanks. A.D.
Originally, I was doubtful about extended warranties but last week my car broke down. I called Union Buick GMC and they gave me the info on my service plan. From the time I called them with the issue, until the vehicle was repaired, Umbrella Warranty Services made me a top priority. I was picked up in 30 minutes and my car was fixed the same day. When your car breaks down it is normally an unpleasant situation. Thankfully I had my warranty, and I was put at ease. I award 5 stars to Umbrella Warranty. My 08 Lexus did not turn on the other day and I thought the worst. I called for towing which was included in my plan; it was picked up in a hour, and it turned out to be an electrical problem and it even was covered. All that I had to pay was my deductible.
